Nivis offers both a client server based network management solution (the VersaManager Network Management Tool or NMT) and a web-based solution (the VersaManager Monitoring Control System or MCS).

VersaManager Monitoring Control System

The VersaManager Monitoring Control System (MCS) provides administrators with control of their sensors using their internet browser. From a full topological view, to in-depth network health information about sensor devices, the VR900 delivers the information in the MCS console.

In addition to the viewing of device data such as Device type, EUI-64 ID, Device Tag, the Monitoring Control System provides administrators with control of their sensors, with publish messages rates of 10 per second and join times as fast as 20 seconds per device.

The VersaManager MCS is included with the VersaRouter 900, and is also sold separately.

VersaManager Network Management Tool

The VersaManager Network Management Tool (NMT) gives customers easy control over their industrial wireless network using an innovative, cost-effective tool. The VersaManager NMT is available in the Nivis ISA100.11a product suite.

The VersaManager Network Management Tool is a Windows-based client server application that allows users to monitor and control their ISA100.11a network using a flexible, web-based console. The tool enables users to view network topology, obtain device readings and identify joined items. NMT includes strong security provisions, including support for user roles, thus permitting flexible access to the network, based on need.

The VersaManager NMT is sold separately and is available on the Nivis VR900 gateway model.
